We offer two options: You may pay in full or split the cost into two payments. A full payment guarantees your share; a deposit reserves your share until we receive your balance due. The 2016 Membership Fee is $5.00 per household and must be included with your share payment or first deposit.
Share Splitting:
We require that all households involved in a share-splitting arrangement become Members of Stearns Farm. Each household has its own account with the Farm and earns its own membership point annually.
When paying for split shares, please keep these important details in mind:
- The enrolled sharer may include their $5 membership fee in their total share payment or deposit, but cannot include the membership fee for a second household because our accounting software cannot divide a check into two accounts.
- If a share-splitter is sending a check for a deposit toward someone else’s share they must a) indicate whose share the check is for, and b) send a separate check for their own membership fee.
Checks should be payable to Stearns Farm CSA. Mail checks to Stearns Farm CSA, 872 Edmands Road, Framingham, MA 01701. We are sorry that we can’t accept credit cards at this time.
Deadlines:
Priority Enrollment (2015 Sharers/Members): Online enrollment request and deposit or payment must be received by 12/31/15 to reserve a share. Balance of payment is due 5/1/16.
General Enrollment (Opens 1/1/16): Deposit + Membership fee due upon submission of online enrollment request to reserve a share. Balance of payment is due 5/1/16.
BALANCE DUE: MAY 1, 2015. No guarantees after this date; first paid, first served.
