Linguine with Clams and Braised Greens

Betsy says that after three plus years she has finally convinced her kids that they like kale. Here’s a dish she made up this week that her family loved. Thanks Betsy!

2 cups chopped kale/chard
2 pkgs. frozen whole clams
16 oz. fresh linguine
4 T butter
2 cloves garlic
Parmesan Reggiano

Steam kale/chard in salted water until it’s wilted. Sauté garlic in butter, then add clams. Add more water to steaming water and bring to a boil. Cook pasta per package directions. Drain and toss with kale/chard and clam garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan, salt and pepper. Serve.
