Recipe makes one cocktail

Here’s another recipe from The Beverage Cart and a great way to use some wayward blueberries, if you have any leftover!

I brought this one down to some friends and they loved it! For a lovely garnish I simply skewed about four five blueberries onto a toothpick which was really pretty. You also could garnish this with a slice of fresh lemon! I highly recommend Bombay gin for this baby.

10 blueberries (in addition to what you want to use for garnish)
1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/4 ounce agave nectar or simple syrup
Ice cubes, plus crushed ice if you have it
1-1/2 ounces gin
1/4 ounce of pomegranate juice or grenadine
1 lemon wheel, for garnish
Blueberries on a toothpick for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, muddle 8 blueberries with the lemon juice and agave nectar. Add ice cubes, the gin and pomegranate liqueur and shake well. Strain into a crushed ice–filled rocks glass and garnish with the skewered blueberries and the lemon wheel.
