Last winter our greenhouse collapsed under the weight of the snow and we needed a new one. A team of dedicated sharers stepped up to do the job over the course of the summer. Eric Brockett, Rick Lawrence, Peter Doherty and Scott Greb planned, measured, sawed, framed, climbed ladders and much more, all summer long, in the blazing heat. The farm purchased some of the materials, others were generously donated by Lowe’s and Monnick Supply. But the greenhouse could not have been built without the incredible donation of time and skill from our A-team, with help from Lisa Shaftel, Craig Barlow, Janice Knapp-Cordes and Brian Holland.
