The only event bigger than the garlic harvest at Stearns Farm is the garlic planting. This year we will be planting garlic on October 18. Bring your kids to the children’s garden work day and join the crew in planting next year’s garlic. Or you can help spruce up the farm:  painting, repairs, cleanup–Peter Doherty has a long list of jobs that need doing, and many hands make light work.

For the garlic harvest, sign up for work hours as usual. This is a good opportunity to fulfill your field work commitment before the November 1 deadline. If you’d like to help with farm maintenance projects, please let us know via SignUp Genius. There will be children’s garden activities both in the morning (10-12) and in the afternoon (1-3).
