As the summer share season ends, News from Stearns Farm will transition from a weekly to a monthly format. From November through May the monthly newsletter will keep you in touch with the work that goes on at the farm during the “off” season. Look for the year in pictures in the November issue and snippets of farm history over the coming months.
The newsletter will include recipes in November and December, to provide inspiration to those who bought a winter share. After that, Susan Arayas will take a much-deserved break from her volunteer position as Recipe Page Editor. I extend my deepest thanks to Susan for her dedicated work on the newsletter this summer.
Thanks, also, to Kenneth, Seth, and Susan for taking time out of their weekends to write the From the Field posts. Finally, thanks to everyone who contributed photos to the newsletter. It’s always great to see the farm through fresh eyes.
