Long-time sharer Sue Kutenplon passed away suddenly in November. Sue and Al have been part of Stearns Farm for a decade. After moving from Sudbury to Dedham in 2013, Al became a volunteer instead of a sharer. He came to the farm every week and brought baked goods from Sue. The foil on the brownie pan always said, “For the Stearns Farmers.” Sue was an amazing person with a lot of zest for life, many interests, and always something quick-witted to say. A nutritionist by profession, she was an artist, a cook, and an avid traveler. The Stearns Farm family mourns Sue’s loss and extends it condolences to Al and the entire Kutenplon family.

Please Carry In, Carry Out
There is no trash or recycling pickup at the farm. This means that all non-compostable trash must be taken away by volunteers, who transport it in their personal cars to their own homes for disposal. The same is true for recyclables. Please help us out by carrying out everything you carry in.
