Transition Framingham is hosting a picnic, Sunday Aug. 30 from 2-4 pm at Butterworth Park, 90 Arthur St., in Framingham. Tables for the food, plus plates, flatware, cups, water and lemonade will be provided. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and a dish with at least one locally grown ingredient. There will be shade and a convenient playground for the kids.
