Priority enrollment for the winter share is now open to all 2015 sharers and members. Shares will be limited to 70 participants, with priority given based on membership points if more than 70 requests are received.
The winter share consists of two Saturday pickups, on Nov. 14 and Dec. 12 2015 from 9 am-1 pm. A share costs $110 and has a work requirement of two hours (work hours can be paid out at $10 per hour if not worked between Oct. 1 and Nov. 21.
Boxed shares consists of root vegetables (onions, potatoes, beets, carrots, parsnips, celeriac), cabbage, and winter squash that are grown during the summer and stored in our root cellar, along with fresh greens (spinach, kale, collards) which are grown in our greenhouse and tunnels in late fall.
Required hours can be worked during the regular season schedule during October (10 am-noon and 2-4 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday). More limited slots in November will be announced.
All checks for winter shares must be received by September 30th. If we cannot honor your request, you will be notified and your check will be returned.
