Summer vacation plans and business travel occasionally conflict with your farm share pickup. If you need to switch your pickup day temporarily, here’s what to do:
- Provide advance notice. As soon as you know you will be away, let us know, too. The farmers are in the fields all day and may not get your request if you wait until the day before or day of your pickup. Missed pickups cannot be rescheduled.
- Email Melanie Hardy, our farm manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also talk to Mel when you see her at the farm.
- Do not call the farm. We cannot guarantee that messages left on the farm voice mail will be retrieved in time to receive your request.
If you would like to send a friend to pick up your share instead of changing your pick up day, please have that person accompany you to the farm the week before so he or she can learn our pickup procedures.

Keep in mind that we may not be able to accommodate requests to switch your day permanently; we have to keep the number of sharers picking up on each day balanced to ensure sufficient produce for everyone.
