Adapted from the Whole Life Nutrition Cookbook


1 Tbl EVO olive oil

1/2 cup raw pine nuts

4 cloves of garlic

2 bunches of chard, rinsed and chopped

fresh squeezed juice of one lemon

1/4 to 1/2 cup of Kalamata olives pitted and chopped

1/4 tsp salt


  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat
  2. Add Pine nuts saute until slightly golden (3-5 minutes)
  3. Add garlic saute 30 seconds more
  4. Add wet chard greens and saute until wilted and bright green making sure all the greens reach the heat of the pan, 3-4 minutes
  5. Remove from heat add lemon juice olives and sea salt. Serve
