If you are employed at MathWorks are you are willing to nominate us for your company’s End of Year Donations program, we would love your help! The deadline for nominations is this Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The farm would use any grant money it receives for community outreach to raise awareness of Stearns Farm’s history and mission.
A MathWorks staff member must submit the nomination, but the Stearns Farm board will provide any required documents and can help with other aspects of the nomination as necessary. Please contact Nomi Sofer, Stearns Farm board president, at president@stearnsfarmcsa.org if you would like to help.
Here’s how MathWorks describes its program: “MathWorks End of Year Donations Program is an annual initiative that enables staff members around the world to nominate charitable organizations to receive a monetary contribution directly from the company. The amount of the donation that each nominated organization will receive is also determined by our worldwide staff, through a voting process that will be announced in November.
“Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 End of Year Donations Program. Staff members should be actively involved or have past experience with the organization that they wish to nominate.”
