The second of two winter share pickups is scheduled for this Saturday, Dec. 17, from 10 am-2 pm at the farm.

This month’s share includes butternut squash, baby greens, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, carrots, black Spanish radishes, watermelon radishes, daikon radishes, turnips, kale, parsnips, and kohlrabi.

Please note that snow is forecast for Saturday. If the weather is bad enough that we need to change our distribution plan, we’ll send you an email. Watch your inbox!

Although most of your share will be pre-sorted into boxes, you will need to transfer your vegetables to your own bags to take them home. All the boxes must stay at the farm.

Bring several large, strong tote bags to hold the root crops, as well as some plastic bags for the greens. Remember to check off your name on the checklist when you pick up.

If you are unable to pick up during the scheduled hours due to religious observance or other factors, please contact Mel in advance at farmer@stearnsfarmcsa.org to make alternative pickup arrangements.
