Calling avid cooks! Our long-time recipe editor Susan Duggan Arayas is cutting back her contributions this year, so we’re looking for additional volunteers to provide recipes on a regular schedule during the summer and winter share seasons.  

Volunteers should enjoy discovering different ways to eat our farm’s bounty. Your recipes don’t have to be original—your versions of favorite dishes from cookbooks and websites are welcome (with credit to the original author).  You ‘ll need to:

  • Commit to providing at least 10 recipes over the course of the 20-week summer season (June-October), and at least two recipes during the 2-month winter season (November-December) using the current week’s vegetables, herbs and berries.
  • Meet regular newsletter deadlines.
  • When needed, help fill gaps in our recipe archive (for instance, we have tons of recipes for tomatoes, but fewer ideas for using kohlrabi or eggplant)
