This is my favorite fresh slaw. It pairs well with everything, from fish tacos to grilled pork tenderloin to hot dogs. You can use any type of cabbage. It’s fine to vary the herbs as well.

4 cups shredded cabbage
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced radishes
1/2 cup diagonally cut green onions
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup chopped fresh mint
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper

1. Combine first 5 ingredients; toss. Sprinkle with mint, salt, and pepper.
