Ember will reprise her workshop about preserving and using dried herbs this Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1-3 pm. Although this session is currently full, you can sign up for the waiting list to attend if an opening becomes available.

Participants will get a tour of our herb gardens, and learn about various herbs you can dry to use in the winter months or to make into your very own tea blends. You’ll gather herbs and learn to dry and store them. Ember will share ideas for which herbs to include in your tea blend based on personal preference and medicinal properties. You will leave with fresh herbs to dry at home as well as a tea blend that you will mix yourself with previously-dried herbs from the farm.

This workshop cosponsored with Sudbury Valley Trustees and is free to SVT and Stearns Farm members. Space is limited, and registration is required. Stearns Farm members, choose “YES” for “I am an SVT Member” and include “Stearns Farm” in the comments to receive member rate. Sign up here: https://www.svtweb.org/node/7809/register
