Winter shares are selling fast. If you want to keep the Stearns Farm veggies coming through December, don’t wait to sign up.
Order your 2019 Winter Share before they sell out, and you can continue to enjoy our delicious vegetables during the holiday season. (Note that if you bought a 2020 Summer Share/Winter Share bundle during our early bird sale, you already have your 2019 Winter Share. And thank you!).
Pickups for the 2019 winter share are currently scheduled scheduled for Saturday, 11/23 and Saturday, 12/21, between 10 am-2 pm. These dates are somewhat weather dependent, but if we have to change them, they will definitely be before Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The share typically consists of root vegetables, cabbage, and winter squash that are grown during the summer and stored in our root cellar, as well as fresh greens (spinach, kale, collards).
If you are unable to pick up during these hours due to religious observance or other factors, please contact Ember at farmer@stearnsfarmcsa.org to make alternative pickup arrangements.
The winter share costs $120, and there is no work hour requirement.
