For a gift that keep on giving long after the holiday season ends, consider reserving one of our new shares – Fall Back to School (Farmer’s Choice and Classic Harvest) and PYO Flower and Herb – available now in our online store.

The newly-offered Fall Back to School shares are perfect for a large household or older children with big appetites, but who are often away during the summer and still want to enjoy the bounty of the season; if you cook more, or eat at home more, as the weather cools down; or you want your kids or grandkids to have a variety of vegetables on hand for snacks and sides once school starts.

The Classic Harvest Back to School Share includes the same choices of vegetables as a full season share, but for only 10 weeks beginning in August. It includes a wide variety of vegetables, picked up weekly, plus PYO raspberries, herbs, and flowers. Three work hours are required or can be bought out for $10 per hour. To reserve this share, visit our online store.

The Farmer’s Choice Fall Back to School Share includes the same choices of vegetables as a full season share, but for only 10 weeks beginning in August and feeds 2-4 per week as part of a balanced diet. Two work hours are required or can be bought out for $10 per hour. To reserve this share, visit our online store.

Our new PYO Flower and Herb Share share is ideal for someone in your life who uses a variety of herbs for cooking, medicinal remedies, soapmaking and assorted crafts, or who enjoys cutting and assembling their own flower arrangements. This share includes full access to the wide selection of delicious plants harvested from the perennial and annual plots in our two herb gardens and our flower garden. Sharers will receive a quart-size mason jar at the first pick up to fill with about two dozen stems (flowers and the exact number of stems per week will vary depending on what is blooming). The farmers will provide weekly information about what is available to harvest.

The 2020 Flower and Herb Share consists of ten pickups, beginning the week after July 4. Sharers will be able to pick their herbs and flowers on Tuesdays or Fridays from 10am-7pm, or on Saturdays from 8am-12pm. To reserve this share, visit our online store.
