The weather is slowly getting warmer and now is the perfect time to start or even complete your work hours for the 2020 season. Unlike past seasons, the process will look a bit different to make sure the Stearns staff, sharers and volunteers remain safe while working at the farm.
The number of work hours required will depend on whether you purchased a Summer Share or Back-to-School Share. There is no work hour requirement for the Flower and Herb Share. Work hours can be scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-12pm. You can email Ember at farmer@stearnsfarmcsa.org to arrange your hours and ask any questions. This allows Ember to plan ahead and make sure the assigned tasks can be safely completed. There is still much planting left to do so if you’re eager to get outside, Stearns is here!
