Every year, we require all new CSA sharers to attend an in-person orientation at the farm the week before the first pick up. In lieu of that meeting, I’ve made a video for you to view instead!

I hope this answers some questions you might have about what to expect on your first day of pickup and explains some new and old farm policies. If you still have questions after viewing the video, please email me at farmer@stearnsfarmcsa.org

Be sure to read the full description below the video, as there are a few edits made after recording. Enjoy!

EDIT: 1. According to the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, we are now able to allow people to bring their own bags to collect their share. However, we will still provide bags in case anyone needs them.

2. In regards to our “Switching Pickup Day” policy, I forgot to mention that if you can’t pick your share up at all one week, you can do one of 2 things. You can have a friend, neighbor or family member pick up for you (either bring it to you or they can take it home) or you can donate your share to a local food pantry. By default, if you do not pick up, we will donate your share. If there is an emergency and you miss the Sunday night deadline to request a switch, email me anyway and I can try and work something out with you!
