As other local CSAs are quickly selling out of share options for the 2020 season, Stearns is excited to still carry several Classic Harvest Back-to-School Shares in stock. A Back-to-School Share is a great opportunity to try out the CSA experience without a full season’s commitment.
Running for ten weeks beginning in August, each share includes the most bountiful period of the harvest season and access to the herb garden, flowers and raspberries. If you know a family member, work colleague or neighbor who might often be away during the summer but still wants to enjoy organically and locally grown produce, let them know it’s not too late to start this year.
In addition, there are just a few more PYO Flower and Herb Shares remaining so add one to your food share or purchase one as a thoughtful and unique gift. This share is ideal for those who use a variety of herbs for cooking, drying, medicinal remedies, soap making and assorted crafts, and for anyone who enjoys cutting and assembling their own flower arrangements. The 2020 Flower and Herb Share consists of ten pickups and sharers can pick their herbs and flowers on Tuesdays or Fridays from 10am-7pm or Saturdays from 8am-12pm.
