Winter might still be a season away but this is the time to purchase a Stearns Farm Winter Share. There is a limited number of shares so be sure to snag one during the Early Bird Sale beginning Monday, September 21.
The 2020 Winter Share consists of two pickups, currently scheduled for Saturday, November 21 and Saturday, December 19 between 10 am-2 pm. These dates are somewhat weather dependent, but if we have to change them, they will definitely be before Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Veggies are packed into a bushel box for easy pick up. While the contents of the share are subject to change based on availability, you can expect to see things like spinach, pea tendrils, onions, fresh cranberries, popcorn, winter squash and a variety of root vegetables, including potatoes, carrots, diakon radishes and turnips.
The cost is $120 and there is no work hour requirement for the 2020 Winter Share.
