Looking for some fun outdoor activities while the weather is still balmy and bright? Join us this weekend for a couple of yearly traditions happening right here on the farm!
All current Stearns members are cordially invited to the Annual Campfire and End of Year Celebration on Friday, October 23rd from 4-6pm. To stay safe, we are asking attendees to bring their own ingredients for s’mores to roast over the fire. And don’t forget to pack some drinks, blankets and chairs to make it extra cozy! Halloween costumes are welcome and encouraged. And of course, whether costumed or not, we ask that everyone wear face masks and follow standard safety guidelines. There will be a 10 minute annual board meeting held at 5pm to introduce the board members and recognize all those individuals whose dedication make Stearns Farm such a unique place.
The next day, on Saturday, October 24th, Ember will be hosting this year’s garlic planting. Get there by 10am to help in the fields and work alongside fellow CSA members. It’s always a fun time and weather forecast is showing low 70s and sunshine. Email Ember to RSVP to the planting at farmer@stearnsfarmcsa.org. See you there!
