With my first year as the newsletter editor for the Stearns Farm CSA drawing to a close, I want to extend a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to you, our readers and fellow sharers.
I believe sustainable, small-scale farming benefits our communities, our bodies, our minds and our souls. My passion for local, organic food goes back many years and I was so fortunate to find Stearns when I moved to Framingham nearly three years ago. Things got even better when I was invited to take over as your newsletter editor at the end of the season last year. Since then, I have learned much about the farm’s operations and struggles and triumphs during a year that none of us will forget. Your questions, comments and support throughout these past months have only reconfirmed what dedicated, generous, mindful and kind people comprise this community supported agriculture.
Beginning in November, you’ll still receive a (monthly) newsletter from Stearns with updates on ongoing projects, exciting plans for next year and of course, delicious recipes.
