Well, not yet anyway. But thanks to the hard work and commitment of the Sudbury Valley Trustees, there is a trail that connects Stearns directly to the Pipeline Trail of Callahan State Park next door.

As the CSA share pick ups start next month and you find yourself with some free time, why not explore with a peaceful hike around the trails? If you walk past the pavilion, keep walking past the Porta Potty on your left and you will see a wooden post with the trail map. Take a right and head down into the beautiful forest, with the neighboring farm on your left. If you keep bearing to the right, you will eventually end up on the other side of the farm fields.

Ember also invites CSA members to utilize the Stearns parking lot when the Callahan lots are full (and on most weekends, they usually fill up by mid-morning). So grab your water bottle, some sunscreen and enjoy the warmer weather with a walk in the woods. Just remember to check for ticks!
