Join us and learn how to prepare an herb-infused apple cider vinegar, with herbs from Stearns Farm! Please bring your own bottle of organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (look for the Bragg brand, yellow label will say ‘with the mother”), a mason jar or a reusable glass jar and a pair of scissors. We will provide herbs, labels, parchment paper, instruction handouts and a fun time!
After a short discussion of the benefits of raw apple cider vinegar and different herbal infusions in vinegar, we will walk through the Stearns herb garden together and each select the type of herb we wish to include in our infusion. You will be sent home with instructions on how to shake your jar and the option to reconvene on Saturday, August 21st to strain and bottle up the vinegar into decorative bottles with pretty labels – great for gifts, or for your own cooking and salad dressings!
