Looking for some fun, fulfilling time outside? As the season starts getting busy, there will be numerous opportunities to help out at the farm! Note: any volunteer opportunities can count towards your work hour requirement. (Not sure if you need to complete work hours? First Group Spring Clean-up:
Join us in the morning as we tackle all kinds of cleanup projects to get ready for the season. Will cancel if it’s raining.
When: Saturday, April 9th 10am-12pm
Volunteer During April Vacation:
If you and your family are around for April vacation, consider spending a couple of hours helping at the farm. We will have a few projects to complete, including cleaning up the Flower Garden and Children’s Garden, as well as moving compost to our greenhouse. There may even be opportunities to help plant in the fields.
When: Monday, April 18th – Friday, April 22nd
Time: 8am – 10am or 10am – 12pm
Help Out at Our Annual Seedling Sale:
When: May 7th & 8th and 14th & 15th
Time: 8:30am – 11:30am or 11:30am – 2:30pm (You choose a 3 hour shift)
Responsibilities: Volunteers will help folks as they shop, monitor shopping “flow”, assist with pre-orders and help at check out. There may be opportunities to work in the fields or greenhouse on another simple project, depending on the turnout and amount of volunteers.
