For those who missed the recent potluck and movie screening, the Stearns CSA documentary is now available online for viewing! Sophie Lemmerman, the film’s director, has generously provided a link for our members and friends to share her recent experiences on the farm.
Featuring interviews with Farm Manager Ember, Beekeeper Arthur and other members of the Stearns crew, Planting Roots is a 15 minute-long meditation on the process of harvesting food and spending time in the fields. It is such a joy to see the hard labor which provides us with food throughout the year’s seasons framed and presented so beautifully.
