Attention native plant lovers – we are selling a limited amount of native plants at Stearns Farm starting on Tuesday, October 11th. We plan to sell plants during CSA pickup for a couple weeks and then set up a self-serve table at the front of the farm with anything that’s left.

Why plant native plant species? Native plants have adapted to our local environmental conditions and often need much less water and attention during the growing season. Not only that, they can provide significant resources for local birds, pollinators and other animals. Native plants are critical in protecting biodiversity as more and more land is cleared for development.
