It’s almost time! Have some fall fun over at the farm next Saturday, October 22nd and join us for two annual Stearns traditions. Celebrate the season and gather with fellow CSA members and the field crew for a planting and party as we show appreciation and bid adieu to another bountiful harvest.
We kick off the festivities at 10AM to help Ember and Kerry plant next year’s garlic crop. Remember to check the forecast before leaving and wear closed-toe shoes, field-appropriate clothing and work gloves, if needed.
We will finish planting around noon and invite all to stay for a surprise lunch. Sara Abramovitz and Tina Alexander will join us with recipe ideas and winter storage advice for all the assorted herbs and flowers found in Penelope’s and Culinary Gardens.
