The post-holiday period can be difficult for getting out of our day-to-day routines and shaking things up. Below are just some of the many local organizations which are offering ongoing classes, workshops and discussion groups. With both in-person and webinar options, this may be an excellent opportunity to venture out and connect over shared interests.
Sudbury Valley Trustees – upcoming events in several Metrowest locations and online include an owl webinar and an in-person local seed winter sow (both happening this Wednesday the 18th!), group walks and the annual (virtual) gala next month. Registration info and complete event calendar can be found here.
Looking to catch up? SVT also makes its collection of recorded webinars available here.
Open Spirit (Framingham) – help keep your mind and body healthy with classes and discussion groups centered around loving-kindness and strengthening community ties. Offerings include yoga, qi gong and a new multi-faith, multi-cultural book club. Registration info and complete event calendar can be found here.
Common Street Spiritual Center (Natick) – open to the public, this space provides classes and events for all ages, such as song and drum circles, cooking classes, singles meetups, support groups and guided meditation. Registration info and complete event calendar can be found here.
