It’s a busy time of year, as we pass the halfway mark on the year’s calendar and the harvest season begins at the farm. If you’re a CSA summer sharer, that means your weekly pickups start next week!
The first pickup will be Tuesday, June 13th and Friday, June 16th. Pick up time remains 10AM – 7PM. Allow at least half an hour to collect all of your produce. You may need additional time to harvest pick-your-own crops. If these are available, please plan to finish harvesting them no later than 6:40PM so that the farmer who stays to close up is able to head home shortly after 7PM.
Please double check your confirmation email to see what day you selected to pick up your share. If you can’t find your confirmation email, please contact Barbara at admin@stearnsfarmcsa.org.
If you are new to Stearns Farm CSA, attending an orientation at the farm is strongly recommended. You’ll get a tour of the farm, Ember will talk about what to expect when you come to pick up and other important farm policies will be reviewed. If you missed the first session, join us for the second one on Wednesday, June 7th from 6PM – 6:30PM. If you plan on attending, please email Ember to RSVP at farmer@stearnsfarmcsa.org
