Mark your calendars and join the Framingham Community Gardens Working Group for a screening of A Community of Gardeners, with a panel discussion following, on Monday, July 17th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the McAuliffe Branch Library, 746 Water Street, Framingham.

“A Community of Gardeners” explores the vital role of seven urban community gardens as sources of fresh, nutritious food, outdoor classrooms, places of healing, links to immigrants’ native countries, centers of social interaction, and oases of beauty and calm in inner-city neighborhoods. Join us for a screening of this film followed by a panel discussion to hear from members of several community gardens in Framingham! This event is co-sponsored by the Framingham Seed Lending Library, and the Framingham Community Gardens Working Group, a project of Transition Framingham.
