Worried about climate change and not sure what to do about it? Consider joining Coping with Climate Change: Moving from Anxiety to Action & Adaptation.
What: A mutual support group for adults. Join us!
When: Tuesdays 12-1pm, 2x/month, February 13-July, 2024
Where: Primarily meeting online via Zoom with some in-person meet ups
Cost: By donation
Co-facilitated by Sarah Harre, LICSW and Jenni Wiech-Delaney, LICSW, this support group is designed to help us and our community members develop and act on personal goals related to climate action, work through immobilizing feelings of anxiety, learn about meaningful steps we can take to lessen our carbon footprint, and work together with other community programs to support larger advocacy efforts. It will be a space to process the emotional and existential aspects of climate change in order to help each other cultivate and maintain hope as we commit to personal goals and action steps.
There is a suggested donation of $5 – $25 for each session – 50% of proceeds will be donated
to a climate action project. All are welcome to participate. Rolling admission will continue
until the group reaches full capacity. Commitment to attend 80% or more of the sessions is requested for maximum benefit.
Please contact Sarah Harre sarah@sarahharre.net or Jenni Wiech-Delaney jenniwiech@gmail.com to join.
