A reminder for all flower and herb sharers, your first PYO is next week! The Tuesday (begins July 9th) and Friday (July 12th) pickups run from 10AM – 6PM and the Saturday (July 13th) pickup is 8AM – 12PM.
When you first arrive at the farm, visit the pavilion to check in with the attendant. New sharers will get a tour of the Pick Your Own gardens and receive instructions on how to select their share. Returning folks can check in and proceed with picking their share.
Remember to bring your own scissors, and a couple of small containers or bags for herbs if you wish. I like to bring a few paper lunch bags (or bigger) and a pen or marker to write which herbs are in which bags. This makes it much easier when sorting bunches out to dry at home. In addition, each sharer will be provided with a mason jar for their flowers. We have water on site to make sure your weekly selection makes it home in premier shape.
