Take advantage of lower temperatures and a break in the heat to start or finish up this year’s work hours. With the back-to-school rush right around the corner, now is the perfect time to enjoy some time outside helping the Stearns crew harvest, weed, and plant.

While we’re happily enjoying all the delicious and healthy produce plucked fresh from the fields, the growing season is still in full swing, with planting and tending to the fall crops and harvesting the ones all ready to go. With such a warm and (at times) rainy summer bringing us lush blooms in the flower and herb gardens, those same conditions are delivering stubborn weeds firmly at home among the veggies.

If you purchased a Full Season Classic Harvest this year, this includes a 6 hour work commitment while the Full Season Farmer’s Choice includes 4 work hours. If you are a Back to School Classic Harvest sharer, plan on a 3 hour commitment while the Back to School Farmer’s Choice includes a 2 hour block. There is no work requirement for PYO Flower and Herb sharers.

Head on over to the Work Hours FAQ page to find out how and when to schedule your work hours. If you know you won’t be able to complete any or all of your 2024 season commitment, you may pay $12/hour by visiting our online store
