Transition Framingham and the City of Framingham are pleased to present the final designs for potential new community gardens at Bates Road Park and Roosevelt Park, which can be viewed here:

www.FraminghamCommunityGardens.org.

These designs were developed by RDLA based on an extensive community input process through CPA23-019, “Design Study for New Community Garden Sites in Framingham”. This project received funding assistance from the residents of Framingham through the Framingham Community Preservation Act Fund.

There are multiple upcoming opportunities to view and discuss the final designs in person with Transition Framingham, including:

  • Framingham Farmers Market – 08/22, 3-7pm
  • Framingham Vegetable Gardens Tour – 08/24, 9am-12pm
  • Parks & Recreation Commission meeting – 09/10, 7-9pm

Transition Framingham’s 13th annual Framingham Vegetable Gardens Tour is being held on Saturday, August 24th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. All are welcome to join us for a free tour of several home and community gardens to get inspiration, ideas, and advice from local gardeners. Advance sign-up is encouraged via fundrazr.com/62QCPe

We look forward to seeing many of you at these community events!
