Kathy Huckins worked as the Stearns Farm manager for over twelve years and transformed the farm – which had 30 CSA members at the time – into the robust, modern operation that we know today. Not only did she cultivate and care for the vegetables in the fields, but she found many opportunities to share her knowledge and passion with the community at large, which she continues to do to this day.
In honor of Kathy and all her amazing contributions to Stearns, we are thrilled to dedicate the flower garden in her name on Sunday, September 15th from 2-4PM. All are welcome to come and meet with Kathy and to celebrate her. Light refreshments will be served.
