With the holiday season swiftly approaching, 2024 Winter Shares are now available for purchase in our online store by Wednesday, November 6th. You do not need to be a current member to enjoy the end-of-year bounty – Stearns sharers and members of the public are all welcome to buy one. With proper planning and storage, you can enjoy fresh, local veggies well into the new year!
While the contents are subject to change based on availability, those who purchase a winter share can expect to see seasonal items such as:
- A variety of root vegetables – carrots, beets, potatoes, parsnips, daikon radishes, sweet potatoes
- Greens – microgreens, kale, spinach, cabbage
- Other seasonal items – popcorn, mushrooms, apples, fresh cranberries
- Onions
- Winter squash
- Dried herbs
All the veggies are packed into one bushel box for a seamless and convenient pick up!
The Winter Share is distributed on two collection dates:
Saturday, November 23rd and Saturday, December 21st from 10AM – 2PM
If you are unable to pick up during these hours due to religious observance or other factors, please contact Ember at farmer@stearnsfarmcsa.org to make alternative pickup arrangements.
The cost this year is $150 + $10 membership fee (for those who are not current members).
