Stearns Farm CSA is seeking a Communications Manager to inform our members and the community at large about all the wonderful happenings on the farm throughout the year. The person in this role is responsible for editing the farm newsletter, which is produced weekly during the 20-week CSA season and monthly for the rest of the year. The Communications Manager is also responsible for keeping information on the website current and collaborating with the Farm Manager to manage the Farm’s social media channels (IG and FB). This position is a work-for-share opportunity and requires a year-round commitment to create content as needed during each season.

This is a wonderful position for an experienced writer, editor, and social media manager who is aligned with our mission of stewardship and community connection. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, organized, and creative. The Communications Manager will work closely with our farm manager, bookkeeper, administrative assistant, and webmaster. Strong preference for a candidate with 3-5 years experience serving in a similar role. 

Payment is a 20-week Summer Share and a Winter Share of organically-grown vegetables, berries, herbs, and flowers. Start date is May 1, with a transition period with the outgoing editor through the spring.
