As we enjoy the sun rays and rain drops of spring from a distance, preparations for a new season are well underway here at Stearns Farm:

Tools of the Tractor

As the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers” and we’ve had a nice amount of rain so far this month. Kerry and I typically spend rainy days seeding in the greenhouse and sunny days preparing the fields for planting. We use several kinds of tractor implements at Stearns to help us till the fields:

Annual Seedling Sale Is Just Around the Corner

During these rainy spring days, Kerry and Ember have been busy in the greenhouse, preparing the season's seedlings. Many will be transplanted into the fields in the coming weeks for share distributions. In addition, you’ll be able to purchase some for your own garden during our annual seedling sale: mark your calendars for the weekends of May 9th & 10th and May 16th & 17th from 9am – 2pm!

Summer Shares Are Now Sold Out, Back-to-School & PYO Flower and Herb Shares Still Available

Both the Classic Harvest and Farmer's Choice Summer Shares have sold out. Thank you to everyone who purchased one.
