After some much-needed April showers, May flowers are just around the corner. The buds are blooming, the birds are nesting and the farm spring prep is well underway:

The Gift of Time

Each year, Stearns Farm relies on its' wonderful and generous community members to help us succeed. And now, more than ever, we are looking to all of you to help in any way. Whether it’s contributing financially during our fundraising campaign, purchasing plants at the seedling sale, donating a box of ice pops in July or volunteering your time out in the fields, we are truly grateful. If you’d like to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather this season, consider helping us at the farm!

Our online store is now open for Seedling Sale orders! Buy your plants by May 5th and schedule the weekend you would like to pick up your purchase. Note that there is a $50 minimum for orders placed online.

PYO Flower & Herb Shares for Mother's Day

Spoil the mom(s) in your life with months full of beautiful bouquets and healing herbs from the Stearns Farm CSA. For the price of only $12 a week, that special lady will enjoy dozens of fresh decorative and edible flowers, along with a wide variety of culinary and tea herbs, for ten pickups beginning the week after July 4th.

Massachusetts Food System Collaborative

The Massachusetts Food System Collaborative is a state-wide effort focused on increasing the production and sales of foods grown in the Commonwealth, nurturing fair job creation and wage increases within the industry, ensuring just and environmentally sound practices and reducing food insecurity in populations across the state. The MFSC site is a great resource for those looking to lend their voice and support the many people who work incredibly hard every single day to produce healthy food locally and sustainably for their communities - just like Stearns!
