With the seedling sale wrapping up and the start of the CSA season just around the corner, things are beginning to quickly pick up pace:

• This week, we have a curry in a hurry and a veggie twist on a French classic.

As You Plan Your Gardens

With the seedling sale in full swing, I’ve had so much fun talking with folks about their gardens. If any of you are lucky enough to plant a garden at home or just have space for some pots, you may know how tricky it can be at times. Since home gardening is so small scale, any mistake or damage is felt so much more. I’m here to give you a few tips and tricks to help improve your success and potentially, your yields.

Second Weekend of the Seedling Sale

The first weekend of our Annual Seedling Sale was a smashing success! Join us this Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 2pm to take a stroll around the fields, catch up with some of our Stearns crew members and pick up beautiful plants to bring home.

2021 Season New Sharer Orientation

If you are a new sharer, or if you haven’t been a sharer for over five years, we’d like to invite you to a quick orientation at the farm before your first CSA pick up. At this time, we welcome any new members who signed up for a 20-week Summer Share. Later in the summer, we will have a separate orientation for those of you who bought a Back-to-School Share.

All Trails Lead to Stearns

Well, not yet, anyway. But thanks to the hard work and commitment of the Sudbury Valley Trustees, there is a trail that connects Stearns directly to the Pipeline Trail of Callahan State Park next door.

Eat Your Share

The sky is the limit and the possibilities endless for the Quick Vegan Curry. This base recipe is ready in under 30 minutes and can accommodate all the extra vegetables you wish to add and make it your own.

A Nicoise Salad is filling enough on its own to work as a simple lunch or light dinner. This version substitutes the tuna with plant protein courtesy of cooked white beans. Perfect for the whole family!
