Stearns Farm CSA

So nice to be back! This week will be a busy one, so let's not dillydally and get right to it:

• See below for a list of what to expect in your share this week.

• Ember shows off all the different hot peppers and cherry tomatoes starring in the shares.

• Spend some time at Stearns and learn to make herb-infused vinegar this Saturday!

• We welcome all first-time Back to School sharers for orientation.

• Inspired by this week's From the Field, we're got spicy and sweet pepper feasts.

Don't Forget: 2021 Fruit Share pickups start next week - 8/24 & 8/27 (check your confirmation email for the correct pickup day). Stay healthy, happy and safe and see you all next week!

Hailing from the Mexican state of Jalisco, Carne En Su Jugo is a hearty soup that is perfect to enjoy over several days (it also freezes well). You control the level of spiciness via the tomatillos and hot peppers and don't forget to add beans for the full savory experience.

On the milder side of things, a Grilled Panzanella is the ideal combination of summer flavors. Ready in no time, it's a quick and easy veggie salad that's on the table in under 15 minutes. Make sure to grab the herbs from the Stearns PYO gardens.
