The leaves may be turning but we still have a week of summer left. Let's enjoy the balmy breeze and see what this week brings:

Classic Harvest take 11, Farmer’s Choice take 8: Potatoes, carrots, delicata, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, tomatillos, arugula, peppers, eggplant, hot peppers, napa cabbage/bok choi, scallions, kale/collards, red onions.

PYO: Herbs (look for the stars), 12 flower stems, 1 pint of raspberries.

Assabet Co-op Market Announces Maynard Location!

The Assabet Co-op Market, the locally sourced, community-owned grocery store, has agreed to lease space at Victory Plaza, 86 Powder Mill Road in Maynard. The Co-op is now working toward making its future home a reality!

The temperatures are starting to dip lower so let's turn up the heat in the kitchen for some savory comfort food without the heaviness. The Vegan Cassoulet with Delicata Squash and Roasted Garlic packs the flavors of fall into a baked delight that's sure to satisfy.

I only started cooking with Napa cabbage after becoming a Stearns sharer and I can't wait to try this recipe. The Melting Napa Cabbage includes an optional pistachio crumble topping and calls for edible flowers (pick some up at the PYO Culinary Herb Garden).
