Summer 2018 Vegetable Share
Week of July 16, 2018
Farmer’s Choice pick 6, Classic Harvest pick 11:
Thai basil, radishes, carrots, Swiss chard, kale, summer squash, cucumbers, cabbage, fresh onions, scallions, beets, potatoes (from Sparrow Arc Farm) lettuce (from Piccadilly Farm–all of ours bolted in the heat!), maybe a few tomatoes (they’re just starting).
PYO (all sharers get all PYO items): Blueberries, flowers. Also, all basil, parsley, and dill are now available in the culinary herb garden. Herb beds that are open for harvest are marked with sparkly yellow stars.
Please remember to weigh your produce carefully and to take only the quantity allotted to you. When harvesting herbs, pick only from rows flagged with yellow stars. Respect our community by upholding our honor system.
