The share is distributed in two monthly pick ups at the farm (November and December). It typically consists of a variety of root vegetables (carrots, beets, potatoes, parsnips, daikon radishes, sweet potatoes), greens (microgreens, kale, spinach, cabbage), other seasonal items (popcorn, mushrooms, apples, fresh cranberries), onions, and winter squash.

The winter share is scheduled for Saturdays November 18th and December 16th from 10am - 2pm. Dates are somewhat weather dependent, but if dates are moved they will definitely be before Thanksgiving and Christmas. There is no work requirement.

Note: In order to purchase a share, all outstanding debts from previous seasons must be resolved. Stearns Farm reserves the right to cancel a share purchase and refund the purchase price if outstanding debts are not settled in a timely manner.
