At Stearns Farm we grow over 30 varieties of vegetables, berries, herbs and flowers. Some of the vegetables are familiar, others may be new to you. New sharers are sometimes overwhelmed by the variety and quantity of produce. One of the most challenging aspects of joining a CSA can be learning how to prepare and store unfamiliar vegetables, and getting used to the cyclical nature of the harvest season. The Harvest Chart lists all the crops we grow at Stearns Farm. The Vegetable Information Pages provide an overview of each crop. And the Recipes help you figure out what to do with the wealth of produce you just picked up.

Classic harvest: Cucumbers, arugula, baby kale, carrots, parsley or basil, peppers, radishes, fresh onions, beets
Farmers choice: Summer squash, parsley or basil, carrots, radishes, baby kale, fresh onion
PYO (both shares): Blueberries (on Friday only. Please see this week's From the Field post about the picking blueberries), herbs, flowers.
Please remember to weigh your produce carefully and to take only the quantity allotted to you. When harvesting herbs, pick only from rows flagged with yellow stars. Respect our community by upholding our honor system.
Although the crops listed on this page represent what the farmer anticipates will be available this week, the vegetables you receive may be different due to weather conditions and other factors that affect production. For an overview of the ebb and flow of the harvest throughout the season, check out the Harvest Chart.
