Volunteer extraordinaire Sal Lampis mows and edges all the lawn areas at the farm, keeping everything neat and beautiful.
Stearns Farm relies heavily on the work of volunteers, both sharers and non-sharers. We have lots of opportunities to get involved including field and greenhouse work, fundraising, skilled jobs (plumbing, machine repair, carpentry, grounds upkeep), serving on committees or the Board of Directors (farm members only). There are also opportunities to help with maintaining the website, recipe blogging, and sharing expertise by offering classes or workshops.
We welcome both individual volunteers and groups of all ages. If you have a talent or a skill you’d like to share, or would just like to spend some time working with plants and nice people, consider volunteering at Stearns Farm.
