Summer shares may be purchased, along with a 2017 Stearns Farm membership, in the Stearns Farm online store. The store accepts credit cards. We process payments through PayPal, but a PayPal account is not required to make a purchase.
Summer 2018 shares will be available for purchase by current summer shareholders on Friday, September 15, 2017. Shares will be open to the public in mid-October.
When you sign up for a summer 2017 share, you will be asked to create an account. If you are a current Stearns Farm shareholder or have been a shareholder in the past, this account will replace any previous account. In addition to purchasing shares, you will use this account to sign up for work hours and pay for any unworked hours during the summer season.
Share Splitting:
All households involved in a share-splitting arrangement must become members of Stearns Farm. When you purchase a share, you will have an opportunity to provide the names and contact information for the people with whom you are splitting your share.
One household must purchase the share and a $10 membership. All other households that are part of the share-splitting arrangement must purchase a membership separately. Each household will then have its own account with the Farm and earn its own membership points annually.
